It's lowkey boring as fuck. Literally the entire place is "Run to node, press X".
The rare animals give same rewards as their normal counterparts. Feeding them does nothing except makes hearts appear over their head. It's just another node, to increase the "reward gauge". They don't follow you outside the pasture nor do they actually follow. They are programmed the same as the escort levequests where you use /beckon. They come, stop, then roam again.
For "our own island" everyone is
pretty identical. There is merely the illusion of choice. There is no way to actually be creative, since all the buildings are premade and you can't place anything. The only thing to buy is the mount, as the materia is expensive and glamour few and poor.
Fishing even got reduced to just a one-click node. Like they could of kept that how it mostly was.
I'm level 8 and I was already bored at 6. Just forcing myself to do it for the mount at this point, then I'm dropping it entirely. This is like a solo, way more simple and dead, Diadem with less rewards.
They should've just made it instanced housing.
