only time I'm too lazy to summon a mount is when I can't fly with it

I actually like to run around a new area when I first go through it. I only start using my chocobo after I've completed msq for the zone. Pointless? Maybe. Get to really take in the zone more? Absolutely.
Of course I know this person… He's me.
Ok.. but now imagine and just imagine.. not realizing that you had to unlock aetherytes amd that you could teleport.
I thought you could only return. So I just ran everywhere till level 30 or so
Ok…but…I played up till level 30 before I finally went and got my chocobo XD
A bit of I forgot and a larger bit of I unknowingly unmarked the quest and was clueless of where to go
