I love all of the versions of the background music in Ultima Thule, but the first version is by far my favorite and I was really sad when I found out it never goes back to that. So, here’s a video of it along with a beautiful view of the zone!

I'm sorry, the video with this ost was so magnificent and so amazingly relaxing that I slept in the middle of my last phrase, apologizes. you're a master of creating videos, never disappoints let it be fails, ASMRissa or
slept again, sorry. This video is too good. bravo.

I still love cocoon is there
is there orchestran roll for this yet?
This is the best version, as far as I'm concerned. This gives me "Ruined World" vibes.
World of Ruin, pulled underwater. It's weird, twisted, disheartening but
simultaneously creating a tension and something… engaging. There's
still a light at the end of the tunnel.
It's not over until you've totally given up and forgot how to forge ahead and walk on.
That's what the melody of the first version pretty much tells me.
thank you so much. this is the only good version of the song; i hate that it gains vocals later.
Close in the Distance is great, yes, but there was NOTHING like the feeling of pure hopelessness seeking for hope that Echoes in the Distance gives me
I wish we could toggle it, or have each zone play the respective theme so I can sit with the ghost dragons and just vibe
No game has given me the feelings that FFXIV has given me, especially if you've been through some really dark moments and contemplated the S word
This song captures that perfectly for me
A perfect soundtrack for somewhere so distant, cold, and indifferent. Totally agree that this track should have stayed in some capacity to the area
