First-time FF14 player. I like it so much I already enable my subscription. Most likely you will see me playing this game for the next 6 months and beyond. Here are a few things I like from my early experiance

I don't if you know this already. just thought I should mention it since you changed a class by changing the weapon. you can make a job "set gear" ( located in character window its a little icon above your gear, above your weapon. ). in the gear set window tick the little " + " to make a new gear set. and you can drag the job icon of the gear set on to your hotbar so you can change to another job with 1 button click ^^
    1 other advice I want to give to all new players, you don't need to do all the quests you see on map. try to prioritize main scenario quests, class/job quests and blue quests with a " + " if you see them around. and most importantly take your time, no need to rush to end game and enjoy all amazing things this game has to offer 🙂
