  2. So the 2 monks in the beginning of the trailer is Lyse and the Warrior of Light (aka Your character) and the Samurai in the trailer is also supposed to represent your character.

    Same with the HW trailer, the Warrior in that trailer is supposed to represent you

  8. I watch one of this guys videos and now i see it on my recommended everyday. Funny thing is, he is exactly where I am. I do something and the next day i see a video about him doing the exact same part lol.

  9. what you don't know because you didn't get to play FFXIV 1.0, is that Thancred helped raise Minfila after her dad died in the starting cutscene of Ul'Dah, she was 5 years younger at the time, because the game was set 5 years before this, so Thancred has a deep connection to her.

  10. Omega and Shinryu are very old FF mainstays that always seem to have a rivalry, Omega, is one of the very few FF beings that presists through the games as the same being, it can travel through dimensions/the many FF's, to find its goal, so in every game, its the SAME Omega.

  11. You can click on the person and choose examine then try on to see how you would look like using the weapon/gear they have. Its pretty useful given that the gear feels different on each race you play and you don´t have to go for if it doesn't suit your taste.

So yes, 4:02:59 was the same background music used before ARR, notice the spell used by Papalymo looks very similar to what Louisoix tried to do with Bahamut before ARR (since you've watched the video I'll explain that much. The spell that Papalymo casted is just a much smaller version of it.) It was explained here that they needed to buy time to figure something out before the summoning ritual becomes complete. So the main difference between why Louisoix' spell failed while Papalymo's succeeded was because the summoning ritual was still in its cocoon stages while Bahamut was already fully summoned (he was already created a long time ago, and the initial barrier was weakening while the new one he tried to generate was not strong enough to fully contain Bahamut.) The First Brood, and their eyes, hold immense amount of aether (considering how it was being used in Heavensward :p), comparable to using many tons of crystals (even more so if you consider Midgardsomr in the old 1.0 trailer.) Now, the madness that is in Nidhogg's Eyes and a similar hatred that is brewing in these people trying to win back Ala Mhigo and summoning, I think our heroes probably know something bad is going to happen if they don't find something to fix that problem, but from the sounds of it, it COULD be worse than Bahamut.

    Since it is also already mentioned here, their answer was to restore a very old technology called Omega.

  16. Stormblood is also very good. I love it’s eastern flare, and the story is great especially in the latter half so I hope you have fun with it like Heavensward. I’m enjoying watching you go through the MSQ and seeing your character progress with new gear and glamours. Keep it up!
