Justice for Hrothgar (and viera)! The whole fantasia problem and the lack of hairstyles and hats, begone! 😤
Don't worry, I'll take that gil from you so you don't have to suffer ❤️
Unironically, though. The problem with gil sinks is that most casual players will not be able to access that content. That's why it's mostly tacky mounts and such. Uf you have so much extra money, it's probably because you're playing a lot more than the average player so you may as well make ul'dahn propagandists proud for once and be one of those rich kids helping the poor.
Bitches about unable to dye then bitches shot dyeing :mind blown:
Gear isnt really a problem when you consider augmented tomestone gear, its baffling how quickly you cam get tomestones of astronomy so getting 620 gear at minimum isnt too hard
Can I just get helmets/hat for Hrothgar and Viera already? That's just my only complaint.
I never understood the 630 race to be honest I always am 620 or up(thanks relic) I don't think the difference is enough to be worth grinding like my monk being 610 but does a massive amount of damage so I am not complaining about gear buttttttt I do say dye are and should do better or be able to change multiple part of a glam too like Aglaia armor piece you could do plate and robe diffent color would be amazing because alots of glam change to black if you dye them(start white) like why the armor is now pink it doesn't fit all the time
This may be a stupid suggestion
But let Red Mages be able to use Shields.
Just play Palidan lol…
Just cosmetically I think Sword and Shield magic Hero looks more appealing than having to carry some hovering doo-dad in my hand.
Tomestone cap should increase every odd patch.
I 1000% agree the glamor system needs to not only be dyeable, but have two layer dye options.
Being able to dye just one layer is just not enough
The should increase the amount the gil we earned from dungeons, quest and raids, etc
Just a small thing i ask for – ability to put all items in the inventory inside retainers at once instead of putting one by ones
If they made every piece of gear dyeable, they could remove a whole lot of redundant gear. Like, why are there two "house bustles"? One dyeable, the other not. There's a really cute caster top from Shadowbringers that drops in an instance, but it isn't dyeable. For the dyeable model you have to run a different dungeon. Why can't the dyeing system be as robust as say…… the system in Guild Wars? The glamour system itself is hot garbage as it is. It would at least be nice to remove job requirements from gear that's stored in the glamour chest. I mean, it's in the glamour chest for a reason. But spaghett code, I guess? Now, at least fix the dyeing problem please, Square. It can't be that hard. Imagine a transmog system like WoW has, with the dyeing system from Guild Wars. It can be done, Square. Y'all are gonna completely overhaul the graphics engine, but you can't make a better glamour/dye system???
Top thing for me would be to fix the stupid built-in delay. No matter how much people defend it, I will always believe it's counterintuitive as fuck. The artificial lag feels so weird… in raids, when doing dungeons, when chilling with friends and one of your friends jumps off his mount and you only see it seconds later….In absolutely every aspect of the game. No modern MMO has delay this bad…
The thing that's making me wane on playing FFXIV is I feel classes are slowly losing their identity.
I hate that ultimates require current BIS for your job. 16 weeks to get BIS, but what if you dont want to play your Savage job in ultimate or took a break from the game? You're f-ed.
Gearing needs a change for sure. I take xeno's point of view of end game gearing and like it. I am also a savage/ultimate raider. It would be nice to see horizontal gearing paths.
Class exclusive gear is absolutely a bane for me as a caster who can’t wear any of the vastly superior healer boots, skirts and tops. I am not a black mage so stop giving me crakows, robes and wizard hats in my caster sets.
need to know what the glamours are at 6:11 onwards
STAY AWAY FROM MY DRG GEAR
I just want to be able to skip all cutscenes in the msq roulette
One of the things I wish they would change is making regular sidequests give decent xp, fates can be done faster and give nearly twice the xp.
A lot of people are with this but a lot of people also are against this (which oh I don’t get because they don’t HAVE to do it if they don’t want to) is a hide tail option I would like to be able to wear cape gear or hard armor gear without my tail clipping ridiculously lol
And no I won’t change to another race with no tail because they’re not my taste.
@9:00
No absolutely not. I believe the artifact gear is the last bastion of class identity. Now if other gear that is "of maiming/healing/striking" just simply removed the ability to wear it to glam that's fine.
We do not need more items to put into a glamour chest. That just needs to be a catalog check list like orchestral rolls and minions.
Have you ever had this item in your inventory? Check. You can glam it. Be a warrior in a "of healing" set to show your healer you have better healing parses as a warrior.
Job specific gear makes no sense anymore and is an outdated frame of mind, especially when you can have people in your party wearing things like princess dresses, swim wear, frog/bunny/chocobo/elephant ect outfits, manderville maid servant outfits….the list goes on.
Let us wear whatever the heck we want.
Most people don't care about "job specific" gear looks anymore. Your idea for a special glamour prism that turns a gear piece into a lvl 1 all job glamour set is brilliant, send that idea directly to Yoshi P!
One thing I'd like to see (that will probably never happen) is an overhaul to the character creation system. I'm talking face sliders, body sliders, more color options, more options for everything in general like hair, tattoos, makeup, etc. Something like that + the abolishment of job-specific gear when glamouring would be a huge boon to customization freaks like me.
Honestly, I'd like some of the untradable, unsellable shit currently locked to Quick Venture to be accessible via the Achievements man. yanno, stuff like the Peregrine Helm or the Onion Doublet Set. I don't care if they're worth more Achieveo-Points, just…make them accessible outside of pure RNG grind for something that literally has no value on the Marketboard?
For gearing I think that they should increase the number of books you get after you kill the boss probably 5 times. Don't make it a time thing because some people started late in the expansion and want to have the fun of chasing gear and progressing (like myself I started November and I've only killed p5s)
The loot lockout altogether needs to be removed. After all, the game literally has the ability to switch to any job as a core feature and it's going to take you weeks for one job. ONE.
One of the major points that i have is that i wish there was some better way to earn gil. As currently, you can.. sortof earn gil by running daily roulettes.. But the main function is to sell things on the market board… but if noone is buying the thing that youre barely scraping together, whats the point?? When youre too broke to afford maps or your crafters are too low level to craft anything of substance, youre kindof locked out.. Getting Gil is such a hassle when you need it.. I feel like they need to make some better way to get it.. Like.. Have some of those custom deliveries give you a decent handful of gil instead of just experience and scrips. It sucks to be a crafter and struggle to keep your gil up because it always feels like youre running out of Gil faster than youre earning it.. Especially in your early game of not having gatherers leveled very high.
For me it's the fact that you carry all those dyes around. My saddlebag is pretty much a dye bag. I can't understand why dyes don't get stored in the glamour dresser since 99% of the time I'm going to dye something while I'm using it.
About selling BiS for Gil – I don’t think people would like their MMO being turn into WoW
Remember, "10 year old code", the same excuse they gave for ALOT of things, and the worse part people just accept it.
I did something that changed my perspective. I played WOW for one year. The fact that I can even play tank and healer without getting absolutely flamed by an entire group of people changes the way I look at MMOS. Even been booted from a regular dungeon because you missed a mechani? A regular dungeon. Thats just playing the game. In WOW no gear is dyable… You know that cool piece if gear you'd like from that old raid? Want a specific color? You realize That all raids even ones 15+ years old are time gated… lol you have to wait weeks-months for brand new content glamours, try grinding for months potentially years for OLD transmogs. What about exclusivity? How much content has been removed from wow or made exclusive and now is unobtainable by the newer/younger generation of player? The amount of problems in WOW vs the quality of life, peace of mind and actual fun in FFXIV is crazy and I'll only ever complain at the most predatory bs in ffxiv. Try it. Go play another mmo for a year. I promise you'll see why FFXIV is so good. Not perfect but trust me when I say it isn't as bad as you think.
