Hi Brian I think this surge is because of Asmongold if it wasn't then this wouldn't be happening.Yes Endwalker was going to get new people but this explosive surge is because of Asmongold and if Asmongold leaves which is possible in the future, and if he does start bashing endwalker his people will all leave with him.This is also partly because of World of Warcraft getting there community upset but it very possible Asmongold will leave and go to ashes of creation.So time will only tell but I feel Asmongold will hurt FF14 in the future after Ashes of creation comes out or before or etc. Do not get me wrong I think he a nice guy when he not streaming, but I really don't want him in the ff14 community, I think personally he toxic with how he talks during his streams and uses language I wouldn't use in a stream.I am just surprise that ff14 community is okay with Asmongold joining the community, and thinking it a positive experience when I think it going to backfire.
