Enjoy your videos! The aiming gear brought up in the beginning is also from Balthier from FFXII! You’ll notice that there is some gear (primarily in alliance raids) that are outfits from other Final Fantasy main title characters! (Labyrinth of the ancients is a great example with FF1 WOL tank gear and Final Fantasy III onion gear for maiming!)
