I love that they didn't go with the cliche "evil you" trope. Your Darkside is literally everything you repress, good, evil or otherwise. It's truly your other half, the half that never sees the light of day. The WoL is selfless, so it just wants you to look after you for once. Also, go and peek at this quest-lines journal entries if you haven't yet. You may…be surprised.
