there are four sub based "Veteran Rewards" from Square if you are subbed long enough, its essentially the costumes of various FF protags. one from FFVII (Cloud – 60 days subbed), FFVIII (Squall – 330 days subbed), FFIX (Zidane – 150 days subbed) and FFII (Firion – 240 days subbed) which is the one you got in the mail. there were others but those were turned into achievement vendor items you can turn in for achievement tokens from Jonathas in Gridania up by Apukalla Falls.
I'm glad you're enjoying all the ups and downs of this expansion. There's a reason it was dubbed Feelsbringers and you will get more of those emotional high and lows throughout. Enjoy every bit of it to the fullest, good and bad.
There's a "ribbon" headpiece you can get from achievement points that Viera can wear that also goes well with the Wild Rose set (and it's dyeable) if you want. Can also be stuffed into the armoire to save glamour dresser space
The Wild Rose set hops from FFII's (the actual II, for the NES) concept art of Firion, the protagonist! As a matter of fact, the use of "wild rose" by Scions in the field to recognize each other is a homage to FFII, where it was used by the rebels.
A favorite, and unfortunately late, animator and storywriter of mine loved to say "Keep Moving Forward". These are the moments when you hold fast to those words.
Every time I look at the sin eaters and the Lightwardens I remind myself that this is Light we're dealing with The thing we've fought in the name of since 2.0–since 1.0!–and now it's the enemy, twisting humans and animals beyond recognition beyond repair, driven by nothing but hunger and chaos Darkness really doesn't seem so bad anymore in comparison, even with the voidsent as they are thanks to the Thirteenth I'll take angry floating eyeballs over agony corruption vomit knights and giant chain fist beasts any day
Wasn't expecting D3vious to start showing signs of endgame content of prioritizing glamour over a fight but can't fight if your not an absolute badass bun bun
I would love nothing more than to tell you what Hydaelyns Blessing is but that would be a huge spoiler, arrrgh xD Just saying: It doesnt work like enthrallment from any other primals no, would make things way to easy and clean cut x'DDDD
Watching that counter go down no matter how hard you try to pull aggro or how many heals you throw out to the Crystarium Guard and still they're dying feels so defeating to witness as you try to only bum rush your way through even faster
Friendly reminder that Shadowbringers does NOT hold back with the emotional gut-punches. If the Battle for Lakeland didn't make you feel anything, you're probably legally dead, 'cause OOF.
THANK YOUuu. I really REALLY love Zenos and it makes me happy to hear you say you hate him in a good way, you know? He just wants to be your friend and fighting is all he understands, man. It made me happy to hear you react to that cut scene especially. Great video as always, seeing you chomp down on the story with such gusto is fun. Looking forward to the next one.

Is Hydaelyn on thin Ice because she’s a Primal?
Loving watching your playthrough, keep on keeping on!

The 'motion' the Viis do that you mentioned liking should be the /respect emote.
Also, if you recall, the Scions 'password' was "Whither the Wild Rose blooms."

That was Ver Holy. Alisae tends to use that Red Mage Spell whenever she gets the option to

been waiting for this one… the part with Ardbert got me so hard ;_;

Making the algorithm happy
I remember how sad that solo instance was. ShB definitely brings out the feels and is very lore heavy which I really enjoyed
If that hurt your soul the following cutscene with Lyna will rip it out. Her VA did an amazing job it sent chills.

Been following for a while but forgot to sub! Keep ffxiv coming!
Re: the musings on the Blessing and tempering to Crystal Mom, MAN I look forward to when you get a. . . particular cutscene in 5.1.
. . .fighting alongside Ardbert you say? >:}
