I find it interesting to see the different reaction to Endwalker. I was so excited to see how the story played out. To see how the threads came together I played through the MSQ all the way through. As soon as I got done with work I would play as much as I could every day to see more of it.
So its interesting to see the other side of wanting to know the story but the stronger pull seems to be not wanting it to be over.
I did the Venat duty as PLD and one shot, but still had to like really try hard. My brother who is a pretty good DRG failed repeatedly and had to play on easy. I think the DPS version of that duty is just overtuned. It seems unreasonably hard. Yes btw solo duties come in different stat flavors depending on role.
I do actually feel a little better having watched you need to redo that fight a few times. I thought I was a decent RDM but I was swearing after she thrashed me in the add phase 🤣They made you earn that win! I, meanwhile, switched to Easy after the second loss because I stayed up super late rushing through MSQ because I was so invested ahaha. Certainly something to be said for taking your time!
i think there's a silver lining to everything in life. for example pint's performance with the venat sparring duty gives me hope i might clear ultimate too if i put my mind to it 🙂
Its funny how they named things differently for Elpis.. Spriggan is to Oreias, Axolotl is to Ambystoma…. And then we have… Shark. Just shark. Shark is to shark.
During the table conversation when Emet is upset, it is because he knows you're telling the truth. Something about being able to read the soul and a natural lie detector.
The Venat duel is one the most pure serotonin moments I've ever experienced in a video game. The talk with her preceding it, the music, the playful mood, it's just delightful.
i love how emet is offended at you saying he made an illusionary comfort-space of amaurot, and literally everyone we meet goes "lol yeah that sounds exactly like something he'd do"
Venat test to ride the mount I did as paladin, & she nuked the hell out of me too the first time, second time I just popped all of my defences before she locked me down & it was a breeze. I also didn't let Venat receive the powerups at the end, stuns helped slow them, it was over a year ago, it could have been my third or fourth try, I think I walked away with zero damage because I popped Paladin hallowed ground last. Wish I could try it now to see how much better Paladin's burst damage is compared to then.
3:45 This is the same point in Elpis where I just stopped doing the msq for two months because I didn't want it to be over… The ending is worth it, but damn if it could've lasted just a bit longer
Hey man, it sounded exactly like a mild anxiety attack. They can be similar to a panic attack, brought on by overstimulation, combined with how the story was making you vulnerable in front of your audience. I used to get them all the time. They’re weird and disturbing, nothing to be ashamed of though. Zepla had similar experiences going through the mindfuck MSQ on stream. You can take time off if you need, there’s always ways of treating it if it interferes with your life, otherwise you can learn breath work and do yoga, sleep more, stay hydrated, and practice proper nutrition to stop your body from redlining during stressful moments. I speak from 20 years of experience.
"Has your journey been good? Has it been worthwhile?" Hit like a truck bro, that part just break me , this is one of these game where can you destroy you in one second, and this happend in a mmo lol
Whenever they bust out the piano version of Answers it never fails to bring the feels.

The Venat fight was tough! Adrenaline rush for sure!
Funnily enough I played frontline the other day and you were in my alliance, someone in my party pointed it lol, our alliance won too!
It's ok, i also died twice to that duty, i was wearing nothing but the robes ofc.
I would say that right after elpis would be a good place if you wanted to go do some side stuff. The void Ark is a lot of fun.
its kinda hard to watch you playing this, your almost completely disconnected from the story.

let him cook smadge
sweet meats for Venat uwu
Be it stalling or just taking your time, it gives me more "podcasts" to listen to on my hour drive home from work so I think you're doing great 🙂
also ggs on the stream chat being in the video man!!

Glad you're feeling better.
0/3 fish moment!
Let's all agree Pint failed the Venat fight multiple times just to listen to the music 👌

I didn't know you could fail Vennat LB =D Nice VOD tho )

Red Mage:*Imploding*
Me, a White Mage: "Pathetic."
Elibby: Go to the past but lay low ok be good
Venat: Omg are you a time traveller? That's hilarious.
Best intro ever 😂

Pint: asks a question about what happens in the story
FFXIV Players that don't want to spoil it: ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Why are you IL 500?
This is the stream I've been waiting for you to do.

To forestall the coming doom. That's what zodiark is.
I support Pint in his desire to start his Hythlodaeus arc. We gotta send Jandelaine de Dzemael over for a house visit.
oh and the Ventat solo fight I've done it on Black Mage and Dancer. When I did it on BLM, I almost had to do it on easy…almost. Dancer was way easy.

Should've played summoner for that solo duty
The scene on the balcony gives me such “Mom asking how your day at school went,” energy.
I totally get your reaction to that fight with Venat. It took me like 3 days and therapy to get past that XD
congrats on the 1/3 mom's defeated!

Once you do Live Die and Know you can actually take a break and do some Beast Tribe quests, the content every new FF14 streamer is sleeping on.
Ve-bae ❤️
The dog craves violence
Venat after the fight: Impressive, your kind are very resili-
Pint: running away PLEASE DON'T HIT ME!
