  1. I hope they hold the crafted gear until savage launch like in 6.0. I have literally been prepping since 6.1 and I stand to lose alot if I can't recoup costs on the raid tier launch

  3. I still think 1 week delay for normal and possibly even ex and then antoher week till savage would be better. Spread things out a little more especially considering it's an MMO, and especially considering login times and bugs are prevalant every patch. And there's so much time between patches that spreading things out so it's not a race to compelte all the content in as few hours as possible and take a break maybe touch some grass before doing the next thing. Might be nice. Not sure about crafted gear. I generally don't have to patience to use my omnicrafting skills and pentamelds to bust literally 24hrs of gathering and crafting just to make a few mil. Would rather ride the ever persistent need for food and pots and housing items. Or selling loot drops i already have like MrHappy does.

  4. This is going to give all the high end raiding teams an even playing ground. When the week is up everyone will be decked out in HQ pentamelded crafted gear and have savage unlocked. Once the servers come back up the light turns green and everyone is able to fire up their engines at the same time giving a true race to world first.

  5. 1 week is perfect. Figured if they did something like this they would stick to 2 weeks, which would've been scuffed. Really glad they chose 1 week though.

I dont see a reason for them to release Tome/Crafted/Recipes on patch, and not hold them for savage patch like they do for Expansion release. Wouldnt put it past them for not thinking about it and doing it anyway.

This is W for pretty much everyone.

Also Yes loot lockout in week 5000 is cringe and 450 tome cap makes me not want to play the game.

  6. As a day one raid crafter im split on it, if its delayed I make more gil but if its not delayed i can also craft for my friends since they don’t really go hard on week 1

  7. My prediction, Savage will be cleared within 5-6 hours and people will claim is a complete joke, this is because having access to normal will help a lot with having an idea how mechanics will interact in savage, DPS check no-existent if tomestones release same day as normal and simply because DSR made players a lot better.

  8. I like the delay. I've got into savage for the first time in this expansion, as it's the first I've got to savage season being up to date with the MSQ. I definitely want to have all the story and quiet stuff completed calmly before going into savages and not losing the chance to be into savage first day.
Then I'm sick of all the people who join practice FoA groups without a clue of even darkened fire.

  9. I think it's a good idea. Though, I have to admit, looking at the video while you were talking, I got some pretty serious PTSD from watching the Curtain Call phase of p4 (I'm a healer XD)

  10. this time it might benefit my team since it's likely the end of august, which is when 2 of the static members are on vacation.
although it does suck that i can't watch the world 1st race during work while waiting to be done.

  11. I'm not a fan of this because being able to prep all the legendary mats and tomestone mats will drop the price of the gear, well not like they were great anymore.

  12. I love the change as an HC raider. Makes vacation planning at work so much easier. Even though this tier my static can't get off work so probably a weekend clear, but future tiers this'll be great.
