  1. I like how you have your cooldowns arranged on your UI. I need to clean up mine so my CDs are easier to see. What you say at 18:10 is the same thing I do with my jobs. I keep the main rotation and AoE rotation on the same buttons for all my jobs that have rotations.
One thing I do differently is I have all my oGCD Kenki abilities on one of my extended crossbars in places similar to my main rotation, so for example Hissatsu: Shinten is on an extended crossbar on X because Shinten is a single target DPS skill like Hakaze which I have on the X button.
Also thanks for showing the extended crossbar settings on one of your earlier videos (must have been over a year ago that I watched it). It really helped ensure I could use all of my abilities easily.

  2. Appreciate the vid. I check them out each time I start up a new job. One constructive criticism, I feel you could condense a lot of what you repeat at the start of the vid into one video and then reference that on each vid. To keep it more class specific.

  3. Both comments asking about how you got Higanbana in the hot bar you say it's " Ingashi " I might be dumb but I can't seem to find an Ingashi skill send help pls

Edit : Figured it out, it's Laijutsu

  4. On your left hotbar 3, why did you place Iaijutsu on triangle (DS4 controller)? I would think you'd use Merciful Eyes right after Third Eye? You have an Iaijutsu just below it on the left side of hotbar 1 (down arrow) and on the right side of hotbar 1 (down arrow).

  5. Hey yo Brian your work is fantastic. Though I'm curious about your hotbar 7. You very briefly showed it and even when I pause the video some of the symbols on hotbar 7 make no sense. Mind telling me what exactly is on hotbar 7?

  6. like to share something i just discovered… tried swapping triggers with bumpers (L2/R2 –> L1/R1) as its much easier and smoother especially with the double tap buttons (WXHB) also lesser resistance compared to the springs on the triggers for me at least…

also you can assign macros to L3/R3 buttons (macros 98 & 99) and had my sprint/bolt macro on my R3… R3 default was camera position and not really much useful…

  7. Yeah I get the warning for the macro thing, as you get many who would come into comment section and write an essay saying why you shouldn't use macros, but personally some macros aren't bad, especially for controller players.

Did wonder though, how do you target non alliance party members or players who aren't in a party with you?

  8. I was almost put off by samurai because I thought it was going to be positional like monk as I heard a few comments like that but thankfully it’s not, I want to max out each of the particular battle classes this will be replace my dragoon

  9. Why not just put the AoE rota on a seperate task bar?
Just tap R1 when you need to do AoE and go back for single target.
It opens up more than enough buttons to not need to use macros.

  10. Helpful tip I recently learned
Macro sprint n then bind the 99 slot. N then place it to r3 or l3. (Keep the draw weapon on 1, but get rid of the zoom) it's not a huge game changer but its a nice lil ease of use
