  1. Gz on your relic my guy! Feels good right? Also missed Potato-chan, her hair looks cute as heck

I'm not too keen on the DNC BiS Relic glamor but it's previous stage/Law order weap is so damn pretty… I kind of feel burnt as a bard/dnc main cause their weapons don't look as good as the others (Matter of opinion ofc! the MCH gun looks amazing but I don't play it due to latency from being an Aussie on NA). But the pay off feels nice, putting aside the normal raid grind ._. I no lifed that and got a cold in between that time so it felt like hell… So glad that's a 1 time grind.

  2. For you and anyone looking for gil … if you enjoy or tolerate Fates; there is plenty of money in SHB-zone Fates. The gemstones you get from those can be traded in for furniture and songs that are MB (market board) sellable. This is where the infamous La-hee song is located to acquire ("Civilizations")

  3. One thing to note about it being BiS is that it's BiS when, for the vast majority of the player base for whom BiS actually matters, it's "too late." If you're a hardcore raider you'll already have cleared everything that BiS actually applies to by the time the max level relic weapon is even available. So it's even less of a required grind than it may seem. It really is nearly purely a cosmetic, casual thing and/or a catchup mechanic.
It's also important to note that almost every single step in the relic grind has different options so if there's something you really hate doing there might be an alternate way to do that step even just to mix it up. You don't have to do every step the most efficient way if the "most efficient way" is making you hate the process.
And, as Quazii notes, the biggest grind parts actually only happen once. If you do more than one relic weapon, the 2nd, 3rd, etc. weapons will be much, much faster (especially if you leave steps open so you can double dip on some of the steps like when Delubrum drops both the Timeworn Artifacts as well as the drops for the final step that you're "supposed" to get in Dalriada)

  4. Now the farm has come! Minions, Mounts, glamour and titles. Not to mention trying out the gatherer and crafters and building up your FC. Then getting ready for Housing Savage 6.0

  5. Blue Mages are fun. It's another one of those rewards that the game gives you for grinding something else. It really did speed up my first relic process and also my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th relic lol

  6. additional tip for relic farming: you can actually have all the quests active at the same time. this means you can grind raw emotions and timeworn artifacts from a single run of delubrum reginae, or have the red-blue-yellow memories and the green one at the same time from cluster farming in southern frontier.

also you should try joining a delubrum speedrun. In my dc (primal) there's a community that regularly hosts them, and they are so fast it usually takes like 17mins per run on average. that is also where i found out that white mage is actually not a healer, but a top dps.

  7. bozja and for SB eureka have developed a bit of a life on their own within the game. some people hate it with a passion, but those who don't find it quite relaxing and it's a welcome change of pace. i don't mind farming mobs to spawn skirmishes etc. and the shout-chat in those places often is hilarious. also people are usually more helpful and it's so easy to make a party, dissove it again etc.
i understand the advantage of pre-made parties, but i ran all of eureka and all of bozja solo and never had problems to get into a party for a CE or either of the raids. it's really not an issue at all.

  8. ๐Ÿค” Great perspective. Glad I had decided to take time to level up another 1-2 jobs so that all the EXP with my more leveled PLD donโ€™t go to waste for Bozja. Iโ€™m in no hurry so Iโ€™m chill with it. Otherwise could of been 80 weeks ago, but in no hurry.

  9. Keep this in mind too, you come late in the expansion it feels long and grindy cause you'll be doing everything since the expansion started. If you play as it releses you only do a few steps and wait for the next patch to do a different step.

  10. I did Bozja for the content, critical engagement bosses, the duels, the raids. Didn't bother with the relic weapon and honestly had a blast with it. Also made a ton of gil farming duels since each one rewards 99 lockboxes.
