This is super cool. Does make it kinda funny that the main melodies for all other songs that reference the melodies of these two in game end up also pulling the melody from this.
Wonder if whoever made this VST knows they created two motifs for this game.
Great find indeed. Good lesson in treating a single sample as a bunch of lego blocks, pre-constructed. You can break it apart and re-arrange it, throw some blocks out, etc.
Makes me wonder, though, if the unsync'ed tempo between the backing track and the vocals was really intended. I suppose they could have stretched and compressed the vocal samples if they wanted…
I want to listen to just the voices on repeat it makes me appreciate them even more and I feel like it helps me understand what the singer's are singing a little better. I also forgot just how good the Gangos music is…..
Really cool find.
Soo….they actually mean something in latin?
Could we get the name of the CD with the original samples? They actually sound really beautiful on their own! REALLY fantastic find, Milky!

The singer is Celica Soldream. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFwIBki9HLoTnYEIPypMpRw
So they were blatantly copied?
