  1. I'm one of those Miqo females. Chose it when I started. Through Fantasia I have been a Lalafel, a female Au Ra, FemRoe, Male Elezen, Viera female… but I always go back to cat girl. The emotes are what does it for me. I just love the way they express themselves. The Viera were too reserved for me. Au Ra are very sweet and their emotes are more reserved, but there's still a cute playful side there. The male Elezen are surprisingly expressive, but ultimately… miqo are what I want to emote with. Lalafels are adorable, I will grant that… but Miqo is more me.

  2. I love my male elezen, the long hair and the ears are just for me (to bad male viera can't wear the long hair)
Now im trying male viera and looked how he looks in cutscenes, don't like it so much, but he really looks good in gp.

  3. I am one of those who was catboy main for 7 years until I decide to change once we knew of bunboys. I had changed before MSQ started and have remained and will remain as such. Having a lack of gear piece doesn't bother me because I never did for my catboy and I always remain in the same hairstyle too. I'm pretty simple really lol.

  4. Been a Hyur male since I started the game. I've personally never used Fantasia to switch character race and i personally don't have a need to. I've very much like my own character as i selected it from the beginning and such it is no matter the flavor of the month. Yet, the cencus data is interesting and does seem to be in line with what i see with all the characters dashing around in game.

  5. Played male Hyur from when I started playing, mostly because I based him off of a d&d character. 🙂 Changed to bunny boy after finishing Endwalker MSQ, but only lasted about a week because I missed all the glams that had headpieces that I couldn't wear, so back to Hyur I went! :3

  6. I changed to a bunny boy for the entire MSQ. I liked how one of the MSQ characters mentioned I looked like a man but had the ears of a beast. While I did enjoy how my character looked while playing, I must admit I looked a bit awkward in cutscenes, I kept thinking this character would look better without the ears. Bunny boys really feel like cat boy without a tail that cant wear hats minus the cat boy swag. At the end their diminutive stature compared to the bunny girls made them feel extra dainty and feminine to me so I switched to male elezen because they look so regal and sophisticated in all my favorite glams.

  7. My opinion on male Viera is… I see at least 30% of players dress them in female clothing and when they do that I honestly can’t tell the difference between male and female Viera unless I look closely. Is the reason people wanted them so they could have an “anime trap” race?

  8. I am way too attached to my Lalafell. That boy has been with me since beta. I picked him as a joke assuming beta characters would wipe after launch but it didnt. Now I can't see myself any other than my Lalafell.

  9. I changed to bun boi partially as a joke (from fem aura) but was shocked how much I love him. His body type is so much nicer that other Male characters imo…
Also so god damn hot lmao

I've switch around between fem miqote, fem aura, and fem lala for a while as they all have aspects I like. I wish you could chose which emotes you used no mater which race you played.

  10. Huh, I'm surprised bun bois are that popular. My experience has been that they are pretty rare to come across. I have not seen many. I can count on one hand how many "HYAAAS" I've heard in the dungeons. They must all be hiding in Limsa or something. Odd.

  11. Despite the lingering notion to change races, I still held my original Au Ra male character. Still love it ever since I started my journey last 2015. I still like the tall, dark and brooding look to it though I hope they upgrade customization options too make super-buffed Au Ra or any race in particular. I'm really surprised with the Hrothgars and the Elezen though. I thought they would have a higher population…though I would assume people like furdaddies haha! XP. Surprisingly, there are a lot of male Hyur but most probably a lot of the players want to look like the OG WoL in the cinematics 😀
