4th attempt on Behemoth 180. A rather complicated amount of things in this strat, and I technically botched one part of it, but my damage was pretty damn good so it made up for it!
– Tried to push Behemoth’s HP as close to 14.9% as possible (I think I got it to 15.2% on my burst). 14.9% = Meteors.
– I had to setup Souleater for the burst, because it would line up having Souleater right after 1st Meteor drop, and right before 2nd Meteor Drop.
– Abyssal Drain needed to be used after 1st Meteor so I could get the HP back to survive the 2nd Meteor
– Had to make sure not to clip in Blood Weapon, otherwise I wouldn’t have enough MP for one last Edge of Darkness towards the end of the fight, but also GCD clipping would slow my rotation down and I would not have the Souleaters exactly where I needed it
– Food had to go off toward 2nd Meteor to get the bonus out of it, but also to reduce my Max HP. I also have to single weave Super Potion/Sustaining Potion otherwise I would 100% clip GCD
– Living Dead + Pomander of Resolution after 2nd meteor for the additional damage it gives, then drop Resolution right before 4th meteor to get some oGCDs off.
…lots to deal with, but when it all works, you get the win.
It’s too bad I did not clear the whole thing, but my confidence on this fight is much higher o/. Just do it again 4head 🙂

new to solo potd and was planning on trying to get to floor 200, but saw a lot of people getting stopped on this boss. I see why now.. that damage/heal check looks rough!
surviving with barely 2.6k hp for the second meteor, would food on not been viable or is it too risky?
got to this boss , and could have killed it twice but both times i forgot to turn off food
this 13-14 hour run (+fighting the random server DC) just to "try" this boss is making me want to quit trying to get the title
but you my friend , are motivating me to do it idk why

If you can live to tank the second meteor with healing, then you could just living dead right before the third meteor hit, then transform for 10 seconds of dps while tanking the 4th meteor and a few seconds after that ?
This combo just feels like you're setting yourself up to get nuked by the 4th meteor unless you flawlessly do your dps combo
this looks like dark souls within ffxiv and i love it. but it actually looks even harder!
Masterfully done! Recently got into soloing deep dungeons and now it's my favourite content to do ^^
Trying to get my first PotD clear with Dark Knight so this video has been very helpful! My last 3 attempts still ended to this boss, but I know I can get it done.
