1:25:22 Per what someone mentioned in chat re. blacklist and duty finder, where a malicious blacklisting (by a large streamer is the example, but could also be a forum or discord group) could hurt that person's ability to use duty finder.
A way around this, would be for the duty finder to apply the exemption on the blacklisting persons (A), and not the person blacklisted (B).
So for example, B queues an alliance roulette where A is also queued. A has blacklisted B. The system determining whether the queue can pop notices this blacklist issue. It allows B through, while excluding A – who has to continue waiting in queue.
This puts the 'penalty' on the active party who has chosen to use blacklist, and not the passive party who may be oblivious to whole thing.
While it might seem weird to 'punish the victim' by default, the odds of this occurring in normal circumstances is minuscule, to degree that it would likely never be noticed, even when using all 50 blacklist spots.
However where tens of thousands of players have blacklisted an individual maliciously, the odds of it occurring is far higher, especially in situations of alliance queues.
9:20 if you look at the characters feet, they animate/flash yellow or blue if it's a GCD, or oGCD respectively. New spells had neither, but the Paladin move us an oGCD, and follows the thematic animation of Requiescat, but with a conal ground marker.
It's definitely Req2 electric boogaloo.
Edit: lmao I should never have doubted your keen eyes, Aldianaux. 11:20
57:00 You lied to me! Said the benchmark would be out by the time I watch this, but it's not out for 45 more minutes!
1:51:00 I've said it before, I'll say it again:
1.0 was trash garbage. 1.21 was a manageable playable mmo, goddammit.
Also it's so disrespectful to not include 1.0 on the 'when did you start playing?' Question. ARR doesn't exist without us. It would be a very small number, but I think we'd all expect and accept that!
Medica III – because we haven't had a Medica OR Cure spell upgrade/new number since ARR. A REALM REBORN was the last time we got a new cast time GCD heal in either the Medica or Cure spell lines. Think about that for a minute. And we KNOW Cure IV exists in the lore since we can read about it in Gubal and I think maybe there's a boss in Amdapor that uses it…?
After the benchmark, I’m sorry but I’m still not very impressed by the graphics update.
There's more than just the moogle for pictomancer. Due to it being not very flashy and we're not used to noticing it you can easily miss it. At 4:14 you can see Krile use the earth attack in its ribbon form. A few seconds later at 4:16 she uses the water/ice attack. Mnk in the background also looks to have a new flame attack. It gets obscured by the Smn attack. Dancer looks to be doing improvisation right before they go into an upgrade of saber dance.
