  1. I think the carriage text is just a reference to Ancient Greek myth of Phaeton where Helios, god of sun, gave his flying sun-holding carriage to his son Phaeton for a joyride. The guy nearly scorched the entire earth before Zeus struck him down with a lightning bolt

  2. Technically, from a lore perspective, the Phaethon not exploding into steam when entering water is plausible, since everything is made of aether and the Phaethon isn't broiling it's rider then it can control it's own thermal output. In theory the Phaethon has such fine mana control that even submerged in water it maintains a heated glow without boiling, not dissipating either as it doesn't let the water-aspected mana influence the fire-aspected mana internally.

But at that point the Phaethon is a magic genius unrivaled through eternity so I dunno, either the horse has supreme mana control OR the devs just didn't want to code in boiling particle effects when submerged.

  3. I mean it does look good but it is lazy nonetheless. With that said, over half the models in the game were ripped off from ffxi. Also, literally all mmos do this and wow is no exception. Reskin is ok as long as we don’t get 10
    Variants of this.

  4. It IS a very well made mount… and I'm not even mad about the "lazy" recolering, since we dont have that here that often. Personally, not a big fan of this mount ^^° It looks too unproportionate with the giant neck and horn up front with nothing to "balance" it's behind. I suppose thats the appeal for this mount and its magic and yadayadayada… I just dont like it ^^° I prefer the old pony models, broken legs or no XD XD XD
