  1. Compared to what I suffered through getting p2 and 3 cleared via pf tank damage down isn't even on the radar in terms of the capability of players for me, you can have a perfect p1 and then suffer through the purgatories of the other floors

  2. Party finder needs to pick one strat and stick to it. not change it over the course of the tier. Why? so that people who want to use PF know what strat is being used when you see PF listing for farm or clear saying usual PF strats. then when you don't follow the new one becuase you don't know it, you know the original one you get kicked.

  3. The thing about intemperence, of course it frustrates me based on the fact my log is going to suffer to no fault of my own, but the thing i really hate is how easily people have accepted doing the mechanic wrong, just to get past it a little bit easier. it feels so bad to get that dmg down because you're doing the mechanic wrong on purpose.

  4. P1S is cursed because braindead (tank damage down) exists and people insist on using it. Personally, any other strat is better than that. However, there is one strat that involves rotating clockwise 1 clock spot that I wish PF used. I find it much more consistent and easier than any of the other strats. As for fourfold…..yea yolo is bad lol. I'm kind of glad that P2S is so rigid because it prevents people from joining your party and complaining that you aren't using the strats that they want (then why did you join bud). Assigning a spot for 2nd Coherence can be kind of nice because while it isn't hard to adjust, in PF you occasionally get a few people who are stubborn as sin and will not move to where the party is going even if they are a p.ranged and have no issues with movement.

  5. I think Elmo is being used the most because of 2 major things. First being that it has the least amount of moving parts compared to all these other starts and less people need to be in certain positions (since people in PF seem to be allergic to being told exactly where to stand) and the second is that everyone is still in range for aoe healing with Elmo.

  6. In my 2 statics both MT's insist on eating the damage down in P1S. Can't be helped. In PF I executed it flawless multiple times (Warrior MT) with my RDM mate swapping tiles with me. In P3S PF I usually play Elmo. Yesterday Elmo never was the issue but last Glory+Spread sure was. Light PF is I'd say 3/4 Elmo and 1/4 what is called "tuuf. No idea what that is but might just be another name for eggman.

  7. I'm glad people are calling out elmo for being bad because I had that same reaction the first time I saw that image and doing it in PF for a week confirmed it. I'd rather due the strata that mitigate player death during mistakes because as it is right now, dps almost always screw up elmo stacks and it cause a wipe. Other strata even if someone fucks up, less people die and its recoverable

  8. i'm from Elemental DC, have done both Jp and Tuuf for FoA, its actually a better option for FoA as it req less people to move at specific space, which can let the tank get the tether easier. And the position during FoA's black balls is also better divided compare to inumaru's way (Jp special aka), most of the time H1H2are running away with D3D4 doing the same thing in panic, but for tuuf, it has good sepration between melees and rangeed which make less confusion for dodging small balls.

  9. For P3S PF does TM HR splits for pretty much everything. Only problem with this is on nado and darktwister it makes no sense because it guarantees some melee (either melee dps or tanks) have downtime. When I got my clear (cheers to Bokchoy for helping me) we did MH TR splits for nado and darktwister mechanics and it definitely is a better strat, just wish it would catch on in PF

  10. I'm one of those that doesn't bother with the mechanic on p1s and gets a dmg down. I don't see why people care so much about parses. If it means i have less of a chance of wiping then I'll happily take it.

  11. The advantage of fixed positions for Coherence is that people know exactly where to go… How is that weird? I'm the tank that has to do the tether. I don't have X-Ray vision, I can't see what's on the other side of the boss. What's wrong with making it predictable?
