you have probably heard it before, but Good king MoogleMog XII (Praise he) was in-game because of the IRL tragedy. At that time Square Enix was planning on releasing Titan and Leviathan, but Earthquake and Tsunami hit Japan, and in a wake of that tragedy SE didn't think that its great idea to release two primals that were all about Earthquakes and Tsunamis so they made a new goofy primal to uplift spirits to their player base.
