have you done a video for dragoon yet?
I'm using Squintinas controller setup. She has a guide for all classes. She also uses the L + R hidden cross hotbar and putts all aoe on it. L + R and R+ L are the same, so no missclicking. With L+ R used there is enough room for all abilities. For L2 and R2 same logic is used as with you (long cooldowns on top).
For positional dps R1 is flank and L1 is rear.

Shirk is very important for higher end content
You can save a button by doing sprint as a macro on your L3 or r3!!! This helped give me some ideas to clean up my overall PLD layout. Curious to see if it makes me rethink my other jobs…
