This mission used to be a group thing. It’s solo now and took me 3 tries before I figured it out. Seems quite simple post completion.

  2. Did this recently with a fresh new account.

    Im an OG player from 1.0 i took a break after 5 years for 5 years.

    it shows that this was recently changed cause they made that thing so difficult for new player compare to most other instances after that its like a random endwalker instance at the start.

    Oh and its definitely my favorite instance now.

  3. Just did this, and i'll be honest i don't see doing this at the level you get the quest. The main problem with him is that in his second phase, he COVERS the entire field with AOE's and quite often there isn't enough time to run to the tiny spot that is safe. As a Paladin i had to turn the difficulty down to complete it. I don't know how people manage to do this… as someone who plays tons of MMO's in my lifetime this fight just felt like BS. Its bad enough that he has 20 billion AOE's but they took my TANKS hp down by like half forcing me to either RUN away and keep distance to let my health regen. Or just get killed… not worth the headache.

    They should have left this as a group fight tbh.

  4. This boss was the first one I did on an easier difficulty but it took watching this video to realise his attack with the four pillars telegraphs the big circles. I thought it was an rng wipe mechanic because I wasn't doing enough damage and on easy he died super quickly

  5. I did this fight so many times and always failed. This video showed me what I missed all the time. Those nasty pillars nuked me everytime. Thanks mate, this video was the solution and I finally can move on. This boss is no joke.
