But actually it was nice, the context gives it a much more hopeful tone than when Estinien turned this BGM on.

The Omega Raid Series is my favourite Everything in XIV. I love the fights, the music, the environments, the plot, the characters and how they interact, but most of all, I love Omega. When this “Follow-Up” was revealed on the 6.1 Site I was legitimately over the moon, I was more excited for this story than MSQ.
And I think it was worth the wait. I woke up at 5AM, when maintenance had ended, and bolted to the NPC in Sharlayan, ignoring my Retainers and other Weekly Reset stuff. While I do hope for more Omega content in the future, I would not be upset for this to be the end, it was a very satisfying and sweet story and conclusion to her journey. Not every Quest-Line in this game has to have dramatic combat, or solving a devastating issue, and I think this attests to that. Two enjoyable quests, where the story is the reward itself.
There was no reason this side quest should have been this emotionally damaging lol. What a ride we've been through Warriors of Light.
Cannot wait for this to be added to the Inn Room cutscene journal. It was so.. beautiful.
There is no doubt in my mind that omega will figure out this whole "heart" business eventually.

I like to believe the final message sent was sirs' hope that even though they were lost that whoever got the message would be able to find their joy. Nice similarities to the thavnirian man who lost his son.
