  1. Easy way to sell the tickets without lottery, Require an account with at least the latest expansion, and verified ID for purchase. If the ticket is then sold to a 3rd party and the ID doesn't match at the door deny access and ban all accounts associated with the purchased ticket. Ensures people who actually want to go can buy a ticket and denies the ability to effectively scalp tickets.

  2. Mixed bag on how tot eel about this. Dont like the lottery.. cause feel low chances of winning, just the ability to purchase tickets..
Then there’s the website traffic and how long itd take to complete transaction etc.. the website version of sales tho, should always only allow 2 ticket sales period. If u got a group of like 17 friends trying to go, better work it out to where like 7 of em go into the website etc.. cause if ps5 taught us anything, douche scammers going to flood website with bots and buy 2,000 tickets and re-scalp em for like 1500$.. god I love it here

  3. I dont mind the lottery system. If I don't get it, I'll save the money for the $400 statue and collector's edition for 7.0

At least we'll have Live Stream.

Just feel a bit bad for those who booked hotel reservations and now have to play a luck system if they want an additional ticket

  4. I think what people don't understand is that the lottery system isn't the only way to get tickets. They're still having general sales once the lottery is over, so you still have a chance to purchase tickets the usual way.

  5. I suppose the lotto system sucks, but rushing the website to get tickets was pretty much a lottery as well;one that also benefited people who could access the web once the site went up. So, people working or sleeping would miss out.
So, not much had changed besides more people getting a "fair" chance.

Does anyone know if you buy a ticket for someone else, if the guest is given their own unique ticket or are they tethered to the original purchaser?

  6. I'm scared that people who win the lottery will sell access to their 2nd ticket and thus we have a black market system where people going solo are selling their 2nd ticket overpriced second hand. Honestly if two people doesn't use their 2nd ticket, another lottery should happen and other people who actually signed up but wasn't lucky the first time should be able to win those remaining tickets instead of those tickets going straight to general availability where the bots will take them.

That's how they do the in-game house lottery if someone didn't accept the house, a new lottery is set and a new possibility for those who wasn't lucky the first time around. They should also add a "No thanks" button so that someone who set themselves up to buy can make those tickets go back into the pot to people who actually want to go instead of general availability.

If we get this in the EU, I'm praying for my Chaos brothers that we get tickets. My friend circle that is planning to go are 3 people, thus we need to be lucky twice to get all of us there.

  7. I think this is great but I totally disagree with people outside the country creating a NA account to go… go to your countries fan fest and don’t take a spot of someone that lives in NA. I feel the same for JP and EU events

  8. Honestly I wish they'd have a secondary online ticket option that would include livestreams of the event and digital/shipped goodies for people who can't attend. I'd gladly pay them if it meant I got my own bag in the mail and access to watch the performances, instead I have 0 hope of attending.

    Such is life I suppose.

  9. It's a fair way to give everyone a chance to go. It's similar to Ticketmaster's fan verified process. In that process though, it's to ensure more fans get access to the tickets first and not 3rd party.
New and older players should have equal access to FanFest.

  10. What don't you like about it Meoni? You mention multiple times you don't like this system but not why? Its much better than the usual ticket master rush and gives everyone a fair chance. Also cuts down on scalpers.

  11. Scalpers they are getting around is what this is 1 the player how long they played is on your account 2 see you are verified as a person by MOG st. 3 if there is a bot on there they will know by b the level and by how many 4 number of people are trying too get for next year 5 even if you don't get the main part you my be in luck with the other part so if you are a scalper you probably go with the 2 option try too go normal you my not have a account if you do you my get banned on your end later for the 3 part and it not very help full after 2 so it's just a way too go I can't get too make money after why bother with it there no guarantee on it and they know if you are a scalper or not by how you go about it play time and if active or not not a bad thing at all I think but they are going too look into everything on your player friends as well and so

  12. I see this as an advantage.

Sometimes, people have bad internet and will have more issues to get on the site during high traffic. I am someone with 800-900MB/s download speed and 29ms constant ping to the Aether data center with an NVME alone system storage, so I have all the advantage. I don’t want my tons of investment to advantage myself over others to get in.

  13. As an Australian who wanted to go to the JP event, its good to see this, knowing the JP one follows the same system. Still not sure if I like my chances, but I remember back in 2018 or so that fanfest for JP had general sales, so I guess I just have to hope for that again.

  15. Damn i understand why but I don't think i'll be able to go as my 1st fan fest with a lottery. There's a high doubt there will be any tickets left on general sales

  16. It's the best and fairest way to do it. It would be nice if they did state the total number of available tickets beforehand. Of course, I'm also not planning to go so I don't really have a horse in the race. I can certainly understand how, if you were planning to go, this would really be anxiety inducing even if it probably doesn't mean you have a worse chance at getting tickets. in the end. If you have any interest at all in going you should put your name into the lottery. As it says, just because you get selected for the lottery doesn't mean you have to buy. If you decide not to then "your tickets" will just end up in the General Admission pool.
