  1. I'm surprised they didn't say anything about the manderville relic weapon exchange. I'm guessing Jubrunnah will just take poetics now? Talk about effortlessly finishing all your relics…

  2. Always adding new tomestones when they serve the same purpose as the previous ones lol, at least do something different with them. Idk, make it interesting. Just seems pointless, meanwhile poetics are still around

  3. any guess what happens if you are close to cap with poetics because at lvl 90 there was no use for it ?
me was collecting causality and comedy obviously and exchange for poetics should exceed the current 2000 cap for poetics 🙁

  4. Sorry, first timer here, I'm just reaching the end of EW and I'm going for the Manderville weapons, if they get rid of causality and comedy, what does that mean for those? They just become obtainable through poetics?

  5. They took a very simple system and over complicated it. Id like if they simplified it down to what it was inspired by, Warcrafts Justice Point/Valor Point system. Keep poetics as the Justice Point every content tomes and have each expansion have one expansion specific tome that resets into Poetics after every even numbers patch (*.0, *.2, *.4) which still has everyone starting on even footing with each fresh tier. Just have to increase the Poetic cap from 2k to 4k.

  6. The Live Gameplay is probably the gameplay trailer. I'm going to do my best to avoid that since the Endwalker one spoiled some surprises that I would have rather seen in the normal story.

  7. The tomestone system works the way it does to give people a fresh, even starting point for each even-numbered patch. It's simple to understand it's function, why it works the way it does, and allows for the xiv gearing system to work the way it does. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Why do people complain about such an easy to understand and functional system lol

  8. So i'm in the middle of farming allagan tomestone of causality so i can buy lunar envoy's weapons and armor. Should i stop and instead wait so i can buy credendum gear with allagan tomestone of poetics later? I have only just finished 6.0 and i already bought the lunar envoy's caster set.

  9. I don't know if I am the only one that feels this way, but after several years of playing this game, I get really tired of SE changing crafting/gathering scrips with each expansion. How is it even necessary to introduce a new color each time an expansion comes out, rather than keep the same color scrip across the board for all expansions?
Not only is it an inconvenience, it also seems to me to be bad planning on SE's part, by adding unnecessary work for its staff as part of the prep for a new expansion. Where is the logic behind the practice? Just because they have always done it this way? Why not just keep it simple? Sigh.

  10. One thing I'm hoping they bring up again is that raid layout tool they showed off a looooong time ago in one of the early Dawntrail keynotes. To my knowledge we haven't seen anything about that since then, and I bet some people forgot that was even a thing (maybe the devs included lol)
