FFXIV New players beginnersguide What are limit Breaks? And how to use em

Limit Breaks in final fantasy games are powerful attacks available When certain situations r met. In FFXIV limit Breaks are used When limit Break bars are filled When doing dungeon raid content. Melee always should use em in fights unless Melee are missing or party is almost all dead except healers then they get priority. Tanks never should limit Break unless a ultimate attack requires it during raid content. Casters range can limit Break mobs during speed runs of dungeon farming.

  1. Biggest thing that melee dps love to do is LB3 as soon as they get it, which could be when an insanely hard boss is around 40% hp, and the "fuck you" phase has yet to start. See this pretty often against the math boss, they will LB3 as he starts his sweeping aoe spam after the prime numbers, and then they and usually 2 others will die, leaving you needing to hard cast some rezzes.

  2. I'm new to the the game, and was asked if I wanted to use LB for the final boss in RRB story, and I'm going to myself (in panic mode) what's that? They were very nice and explained it to me.

  3. How big can be discrepancy in LB bar fulling time with multiple players per job? I mean taking an example of savage/high end content, so LB3 and comparing a party with a double on healer jobs + one double on melee vs party without doubles on jobs. Is it possible 2 doubles will f**k whole thing by greatly slowing LB rise?

  4. Tank lb is definitely useful. It's in very rare cases, but if your healers are dead, many party members have low hp, and the boss is going to unleash party wide damage, use it. I've done it a handful of time like that and saved the run. The other tank lb case tends to be pretty obvious, where lb3 comes up quickly, and the boss charges an ass kicker power level 9000+. It's a must use or wipe in those cases.
