Edit: I would have preferred the shirt on the jacket the Miqo's wearing, and the jacket itself, cover the torso completely though but eh.

If you look closely to the sets that give the feeling they don't belong in this world you can see it has "old times" stitching or needling. They do care about it. Same goes for the flying cars and motorcycles, if you've done the quest when it was added to the game you'd know how it was implemented

I also really like how it feels very heavily inspired by the Akihabara streetwear I vividly recall a lot of the young hip crowd dressed in when I was in Japan a few years back especially since I really miss it there lol

I'm not sure on these. I'd have to see what they actually look like in game. The concept isn't too bad but it will come down to execution. We already have some fairly similar pieces in the game available for free.
On the point of immersion, though, I'm not sure pointing out that there are things like cars and motorcycles in the game already is a match winning point given that the inclusion of things like that is exactly what some players don't want to see more of.
I dig the female outfit, not so much the male. =P
They just look like FFXV clothes to be honest.

This looks very good and I can't wait to see the finished product! Not sure it fits my own aesthetic, but I just love seeing more options available to people – after all each of us has our own identity to play around with and options are always a good thing!

It's final fantasy it doesn't ruin immersion tons of their games have modern aspects and fashion while still having fantasy things like swords magic and dragons etc thats one of the reasons ff is so cool
