  1. Personal I really love amarout like the city part not the dungeon mainly bc its a fun place to hang out and that BGM I love it so much I actually grinded fates to get the roll for my house 🙂

  2. I loved Coerthas Western Highlands when I first arrived at it. But I've become thoroughly sick of seeing it now with the endless lead up quests to head into Heavensward and to be allowed to go into Ishgard. All I want to do is unlock the Machinist job, yet every time I think I'm getting close I find that no, there is another long series of going back and forth to see Minfilia and more dungeons to run before getting to the next step…

  3. Yep the Azim Steppe is my favorite location on FFXIV as well, even crafting is a delight to do for me over The Bridge of the High Rule Warriors because you get such a beautiful sight from there, I just freaking love that place 💖

  4. Most of these i have not yet seen in my game. Gold Saucer gave me 5 cards, the first time I came by and i can't get rid of em, so they take up 5 spots in my inventory and i do not have any special currency, so i can't play anything there. My characteres are all somewhere in the story in Coertha. I have mostly been fighting in Coertha for some Fleece and I'm not fond of the music in the area, especialy battle music. An area that looks like Calm Lands – now that sounds wonderful. I'm glad to have something to look forward to. 😀

  5. 1. Eureka Anemos
    2. Kugane
    3. Azim steppe ( hard to put this even in the last after all this god damned relic grinds ive done in the area)
    4. Il Mheg and especially with the fun place from the beast tribe
    5. lakeland

I Hope we get sooner or later some decent upgradeable graphicsettings for the game.. Some sceneries are just ugly in the far.

  6. Il Mheg in particular the underwater sunken city ruins is the most beautiful underwater location in the game, closely followed by the Dimwold area of The Fringes which is highly underrated for beauty and atmosphere – all of Gyr Abania is unfairly overlooked, then Coerthas Western Highlands for atmosphere, and then Floating City of Nym for the lore, whimsy, and beauty. And I include New Gridania because that was my starting city and thus nostalgia. Azim Steppe is also nice.

I feel like I'm the rare person that loathes the Tempest and found no charm or wonder in Amarout, just distaste. Doesn't help that the BGM of that zone is the single zone I have to mute in the game because it set my teeth on edge the second I ported in, worse that the St. Mocianne's Arboretum Hard. With the tempo sped up for 'On the Edge' it's okay, but to this day I can't stomach that zone.
