The whole mentor system needs a rework. It's not helpful to pair sprouts with people who get a crown from time spent as a tank or healer naturally and have no idea how to actually explain things to new people. Might as well pair them with other sprouts and toss more text boxes explaining unique mechanics. Aside from "don't step in the piss" nothing else is really explained to players. I have to watch a spoiler video about about 5 times on about 60% of the content I'm going to have to play with other people to figure out what is going to happen so I don't let people down as a healer.
Ah yes, the average XIV player. They collectively and progressively have gotten so bad they made me quit Savage altogether in EW.
God gave them intelligence and they were like "nah I don't take handouts". The types of people that somehow figured out how to breathe.

I had mentor for one patch cycle and never again. Too many times I've gotten seven sprouts in Garuda Extreme.
reason #576 on why i worry about the mentors sanity and pity them…as a sprout…
5:50 psa to sprouts- You can overlap aoe circles as long as the overlap isnt touching another player IE you dont need to wall it everytime-

great hunt ex is probably the most passable ex in my experience, instead of teaching up to 7 clueless people u just need to teach 3, and the mechanics are easy while requires basically 0 cooperation (if u count stack then 1 i guess lol

I just wish you would have censored the names of those people in the new section. You never know who’s behind the screen, they could be disabled for example or have other good reasons, and I feel like showcasing their mistakes like this isn‘t fair. Just my humble input.

is there, like, a special pool of players who can only be accessed by mentors? cause my mentor friends complain a lot about this stuff, but I hardly ever see it in normal roulettes

was part of a alliance raid once where 2 mentors kept stealign the Plus sign from each other and then proceeded to put the dont follow symbol on me after they kept killign me with their AOEs. i rage quitted that day.
I love this. 😂 I actually really enjoy mentor roulette and helping folks learn stuff. And watching them die to the same things that got me as a sprout. I hate how I'll get random mentor hate for no reason.
At a certain point you just learn to accept people's stupidity in mentor rolo.
