if only i had friend or someone that lived in fairfield california that would be willing to do the blue mage stuff for me so i dont have to do it an end up punching my computer. i stop trying after the first boss when the carnival first came out no matter how many times i tried i just couldnt get to third stage. so i eventually gave up im not touching blue mage with a 6 foot poll
Any easy tip and setting?
If you go in as Aetherial Mimicry: Healer then you can just use Pom Cure instead of White Wind. Negates any need for serious MP management and makes the whole fight even easier.
You can heal during Mimic. He doesn't copy it.
You can addle the flare and holy in stage two, will stick for both if hit near end of flare cast.

I watched your video and I beat Gogo on my first try! Honestly, this was a fun battle! Unlike the others. Pretty easy to figure out what to do from the previous Masked Carnival fights.
I don't mind doing this fight again. And I used the Healer mimicry for the fight. Made use of Pom Cure to save my MP a lot.
Use the fog ability from the burn it can help you keep consistent damage during some mechs
Two words everybody… Blood Drain! Solved my MP issues no problem. The often forgotten early spell will net you 500 MP a cast.
I downed it with blood drain. If the chance you learned the pattern, you can actually get in a few blood drains in for mp.

just adding this for people like me who suck. you can use healers kit with the heals and buffed gobskin from the aether selection to stay in the middle during meteor and staying safe from the tornados and lightning puddes, you eat the meteor at half range and shield/heal through it. i found it much easier
one more challenge im never gonna get… sigh… if only u could start on act 2… im too exhausted when i get to act 2 🙁
well… 2nd act is now officially bugged… icestorm leaves a dot on you, exuviat doesnt remove it, ticks a ton and you die, cant be avoided.. lovely
nope cant cast it twice, im alrdy dead before 2nd cast finish… they need to fix this.

I'm struggling with Act 2, what food and materia sets are you using?
I wasn't good at avoiding mistakes in 2nd phase so I went with healer stance for gobskin plus mighty guard for safety. Not very quick but it worked very well. Mp was never an issue. I just had to cast lucid dream after Diamondback.

For those who are maybe struggling with meteor phase and when he debuffs you after i advise placing a waymark down before the fight starts. Once the meteor phase starts you can just run into it and you should be safe for the most part. Once the boss casts the debuffs your fine to stand still and dispell them and by then he should be just starting to cast the lightning aoe.
Dang, I tried this like 8 times, does not sound like much but each try dying on the second phase took around 10 minutes while I tried different spells, repaired gear, etc…
