FFXIV Lore- The New World and Mamool Ja (Dawntrail)

Did you know almost all this lore is as old as 2.0? Indeed my friends! We know more about the New World and its goings on much more than we think! Time to remind ourselves why Eorzea’s relationship over the passed hundred years has been so important, and why Dawntrail has so much to build upon!

  1. I know this much… Unless I fall in love with another outfit my red au ra is going into this new world glamour nomad style! I wonder what kinda outfit our residential scribe will take into the new worlds jungle…

  2. I have two major questions. How come the name Tural never caught on in foreign lands as it is should be the official name compared to the title of New World? And by defeating Molaa Ja Ja, does that make us viable to compete in the contest for the throne? Not as a potential ruler mind you, just as a proxy or champion for the contender themselves.

  3. Some people may be..m disgruntled about not going to the New World via Limsa and Merlwyb, understandably. However from a political stance, it kind of makes sense. Doing so could look like we, the supposedly disbanded Scions and the WoL who I'm pretty sure could be considered a womd at this point, are either in Limsa's pocket or at least owe them a favor. Going via Sharlyan, who are known if not legendary in their isolationist tendencies (I don't think they even have a Hingashin ambassador in Kugane), that they were sending anyway is a better political move.

  4. A fantastic video as usual, I've been looking forward to this one! I winner if they're kicking themselves for already using Quezalcotl now that they're going to Aztec/ Mayan inspired locations

  5. you mentioning merlwyb makes me wonder if she'll be involved somehow, after all now that the war is over the only thing i can see the alliance still needing to do is help stabilize garlemald before the grand company leaders and nanamo can fulfill their promise to step down as leaders, after all why leave something like that to new, inexperienced blood, when it makes more sense for them to finish what they started

  6. I wonder if we're going to meet the whalaqee tribe this expansion. Would be a grand opportunity to do something more with blue mage content, as we travel to the tribe who originated the artform, looking for lessons from the point of origin, rather than from a proxy.

  7. I am looking forward to learning more about how new leaders are put on the throne. The whole leading a war band and the fight in the trailer makes it clear that strength through combat matters but a nation needs more then toughest bastard on the throne to be so thriving and friendly.
