It took me most of yesterday to make this, so I hope it makes you smile!

The prey that Zenos feared
There was a single short moment in which Hildabrand showed up in the recent 6.1 Update trailer.
Did you notice it?
Varis: I have an army.
Nanamo: we have Mandevilles.
Even our professor is not safe from the Manderville Madness. And part of me loves that detail.
Not sure what to make of this one, but it’s still informative.
yes we need more talks about Manderville men.
also damn I ddn't know Nashu's backstory was so dark especially for Hildibrand.
Hildebrand would have been the warrior of light if we weren't. Change my mind.
Absolutely loved this video! It's the only time that a lore video can actually be more hilarious than an April Fools video.
Also, am I the only one still disappointed that Godbert didn't appear during the Doom Train fight and suplex the train…?
I CANNOT thank you enough for this video. I was a rookie FFXIV player when I did this quest line and skipped every. Darn. Cutscene. This makes me so happy to see you recapping the best side quest in the game.
My boy!!
after watching this all i want to do is find nashu and give her a hug and tell her hildibrand was the best thing that could have happened to her
I will never forget having to oil and rub Godbert in camp bronze lake in a side quest….
Glad to see you handle this most gentlemanly of topics with the same elegance and poise as Squeeny did with the Manderville quest-lines' animation budget
I just love these questlines because it breaks up all of the seriousness and all of the darking Gloom stuff.
Which don't get me wrong that stuff is kind of exciting and can be fun but after you've done fifty missions in a row where you're either sitting around having to deal with politics or constantly fighting off hordes of despair or having to deal with another old lady that needs you to go and help her young Chocobo goinfine Chocobo grass.
Or fight a war of dragons or going side of mechanical monstrosity or go inside to Crystal Tower are going inside another crystal structure that has Bahamut in it.
These quests help at least break up the monotony and yes I purposely made this sentence as long and annoying so you had to sit there and read it🤣
Reason why we don’t ask Julienne Manderville’s age? Umm…. Is it because she’s part, umm…. Voidsent? Seriously- she’s a dark knight disguised as a cook…
Finally, a video on the true Warrior of Light!
I really need to continue those Hildebrand quests now that I'm caught up on msq
The Gentleman of light who banishes the darkness.
Loved thw vid!
I hope you do a sequel to this talking about the various cases Hildabrand went through throughout the patches
Wait, if I recall the area that Hildebrand got blown up in was also revealed to lead to the Ultima Weapon which the Empire took and restored.
Wait Hildibrand was in 1.0 all that talk about blasting himself to the red moon happened in CUTSCENES!?! O.o Excuse me I gotta do some digging around YouTube.
