Such a great video! Honestly, ever since ARR, I've been deathly curious if or when we'd learn about the Heart of Sabik. And learning more about Tupsimati was certainly a nice bonus.
Now this is the lore I love.
Did these horns come from a Padjal?
i had no idea about all the horns, aside from the one that went on to be used in alexander, so this was good to learn!
honestly im just wondering if the heart of sabik has a connection to the high seraph- is it a type of auracite? does it pre-date her? i can understand why bosses like kefka can use a form of ultima like its a cheap party trick- you can make the case that its a different form of the spell, but…still. lots of mysteries around it and i hope we get answers one day
Remind me, was the horn that Travanchet stolen also the one that he gave to the ones who summoned Alexander?
Feels like they had so many opportunities in Endwalker to explain the Heart of Sabik, surely it'll come up again at some point. Surely.
Thank you for responding to a request I made to learn more about the Heart of Sabik. Hopefully more information about that relic will be uncovered moving forward. But for now I'm content with what you were able to find and shared it with us.
Oh I was not aware of these horns, as well as their involvement with the 1.0 story. Pretty cool to know.
A part of wonders if some of these artifacts were fashioned from Zodiark in some way given his control over the aether of the world and the ascians intimate knowledge with said artifacts. But that’s a level of speculation that borders insanity.
wowi did not know the horn that the mammet blew was one of those artifacts
The horns really feel like old 1.0 lore that probably will never get explained. Maybe they were just things the Ascians made to help mortals use aether to further along the ascian agenda. Or, like many other things, Allag did it.
A truly terrifying thought is that the completed Resistance Weapon is as strong as Save the Queen its self, and the WoL (if you go full completionist) just has 17 of these things lying around. And Rowena is actually making these things for customers too.
