'As a tank main.' Well, I guess Chris now knows how us Healers have felt being pushed off to the wayside since HW. If tanks get pushed to the wayside this time around, tanks can take the L instead of healers this time. xD
The inventory system sucks in FFXIV. It's horrible. Sorry but somebody has to say it.
I’m a Smn main, so I hope they ad a few egi glamours* change the summons a bit maybe? I’m just hyped the most for the island. Really want to see more on that.
I'm worried that summoner is going to get the 5.0 treatment and suck big time. And if it does, I'm not maining summoner until it changes

They've also got the short stories "Tales from twilight" and etc, are they just called short stories or do they have a name? hmmm
The devs already told us how much the stat squish will affect us, it's approximately 1/5 of what it was, so an attack that does 200,000 damage in shadowbringers would do 40,000 in endwaker. At least that was the case as of the announcement showcase.
I'm hoping SMN and SCH get big changes. The clunkiness and ghosting are so bad, and SMN has such a bloated kit. They're meant to be summoning but it's too focused on DoTs IMO, it feels unfocused and more like a Ranger in other MMOs but with a book instead of a bow.

Yall talkin about how great lore outside the game would be is the same reason i dont play games like that. Its one of the problems with Wow that you hear people complain about all the time. Let me learn that stuff in game. Not in a grimoire card outside the game on some website. Don't make me read a harry potter sized book to learn important lore for these characters. I want to learn that stuff in game instead of out. Its one of the reasons i love FFxiv Lore so much.
I don't get the obsession with splitting SCH and SMN. It literally makes no game play difference and they don't want to deal with the PR for a change they don't have to do or technically cannot do.
Even if you keep both jobs at your current level it brings up the question of how fair is it for new players? Also doesn't it add good flavor that you can level a healer and dps at the same time?
I leveled up SMN within the last couple weeks and I completely understand what you've been talking about now. The job feels so confusing. On the other hand, I like the challenge of SCH lol.
