  1. 11:30 Jesse, it didn't say sexually fantasize, just fantasize. So:
    1) It's a yes because your mind immediately went sexual
    2) It's a yes because it counts even if you do it ironically
    3) It's a yes because you have referred to yourself and story characters as "we"

  2. Most of us are not as maessed up as wow players. There is nothing wrong with enjoying playing well, and not being toxic about it. This game has seriously hard content you need to be atleast somewhat sweaty about to manage and that's a good thing. I enjoy this games class and fight design more then I ever enjoyed wow.

Even the sweatiest part of this community still looks sane compared to how terminally fucked wow is.

  3. Q. Have you ever fantasized about either your own character or a story character.

I've said Krile is my Bae (lore says she is an adult), but I don't log off and think dirty thoughts about her. I just legit wanna hang out with her, I think she's cool. Also, my character is a self insert same gender and I'm straight.

  4. Most of this stuff has to do with plugins against the ToS, we don't talk about them for that reason. But this part of the community definitely exists, especially in savage raiding. That being said I know a crime tool that you can use to ride other players as a lala so.. do with that info what you will.

  5. I got a 90/100 there myself. My time as a raider, with ACT and parsing brought my score down. Never really cared about the parse, but it was the done thing. Never bothered even checking other people's parses. But I do admit that I did feel good the one time I got a pink parse (95+) from a savage raid.

  6. I was totally on page with Jesse. I thought this was going to be a lewd test lol. Who in their right mind would expect Jesse to be parsing and doing all that number crunching.

  7. The amount of suffering I have had with PFing savage and high end content combined with Jesse getting some group to carry him through an ultimate in a manner of weeks is debilitating for my ff14 self worth.

Does he know what his rotation is at least?

  8. The guild that I was in (the only – or one of the very few – in my native language) had plugins, DPS counters & all that jazz. They'd want to do some janky ass pixel-perfect-position-standing in raids and we had to reset everytime someone wasn't on the right pixel instead of trying to play by the mechanics of the boss. They'd also DPS-shame and tell you which skills to use & in what order to "do the class right", also shame you for not using the exact BiS gear they thought was correct – toxic as shit. Joining that guild was a horrible mistake that cost me the joy and interest of playing that game.

I also saw a lot of newbie-shaming in general in the dungeons and raids, you'd let them know in the beginning that it was your first time and they'd ask "You watched the mechanics on YT beforehand right? OMG how can you NOT know how this fight goes?!" Maybe just EU server thing, who knows.

  9. To answer your question Jessse, Yes Parsing and dps chasing and funny numbers like WoW exists in XIV. Lots of people who do savage and ultimate enjoy that type of thing. The reason they do it in XIV and not WoW is they like the fight and job design of XIV end bosses better than WoW end bosses. Hope that clears things up!

  10. Pretending to not know what parses and ACT and other things are is pretty cringe lol. Like sure, don't do/use them, but we all know you know what they are haha Especially if you were actually in top WoW raiding guilds as you say.

  11. Im not sweaty but using ACT and that add-on that reduces ability response time improve my experience.

People in like California and Texas and stuff probably don't need the second one. Im on the east coast though.
