My friend, you seem at least slightly younger than me, but by god- MMos used to be so much worse than this. The end game type of content and mechanics in FF14 are very fast and unique, but in general they are learnable by competent players. IDK if you played MMO's before WoW came a long and popularized making leveling a lot easier in the genre, but I legit played several MMOs Including FF11 where after months I literally just quit because it was so hard to get to max level, much less to raid at that. Everquest had some encounters that took like 70 people several days to prepare to simply pull much less finally defeat.
I remember doing this fight the first week of Shadowbringers, such a fun fight to learn.

A little tip, if you lose enochian during a fight, you can use Freeze to dip into Umbral Ice faster

I am new to FF14.. i'm a level 80 Ninja and up to date on the whole main story quests. And I can confirm, I do hate my life. Some shit is cringe and some shit don't make sense. Some of the characters annoys me without me even knowing about them. Or some of the characters later in the story of knowing something does piss me off. Straight disappointment but I somehow cannot leave this game because I slept almost 200 hours in a week on steam for the hell of it.
