  5. Here's to hoping we get more creation options than the original hrothgar males. Thank Hydaelyn they don't have hunched backs either.

    Definitely excited and switching day one. Can't wait for the benchmark in a few months to make one.

  10. I've been dreaming of this day since Shadowbringers, and I am NOT disappointed. I'll miss my M!Hrothgar after making so many memories as him, but I'm excited to make even more memories as who she's always meant to be as a F!Hrothgar. Dawntrail can't come soon enough!

  12. There head looks small compared to the body to me. Maybe it’s intentional but it feels a touch off. Reminds me of when I use to TRY to draw things but could never get the body proportions right. Aside from that, they look fantastic. The move nice as well from what I can see.

  14. I'm glad they chose to cover a different demographic with the Hrothgals since we already have 3 different flavors of Miqo'te and didn't need a 4th one. If my guess is correct from what I can compare it seems like they should be on very equal footing as the males with height which is nice since this lets the Femroes stay the tallest but gives another tall muscular female race.

    So far I like what I've seen but I can't be 100% sure if I want to day 1 fantasia until I get my hands on the benchmark (Little disappointed no date on that but I understand not wanting Yoshi-P to have another breakdown like he did for the delay of EW). But as it stands right now I'm probably 85% thinking of day 1 fantasia to a Hrothgal and the 15% not would be if the options don't either A) appeal to me like I thought they would or B) the options are way too limited just like day 1 launch of Male Hrothgar.

    I hope since they have had time with the males to iron out the bugs that the Hrothgals will go a bit smoother with the hairstyle options. I will be happy if they are able to get the Hrothgals to start with the 8 starting hairstyles for the race and hopefully don't have the same issue that the males had when they were created due to head shape issues and were limited to two per face, mostly so there is at least some variation at launch. At the same time there could be issues under the hood that I can't see and if that's the issue I understand if they have to do the two per face like they had to do with the males. Here's hoping for the best but keeping prepared for the worst case scenario.

  20. It is everything I wanted! They literally ticked every box I asked for. Buff actual CAT then girl. Not girl with some cat features. 😅 I love to look at Miqo, dont get me wrong but… its not for me to play as. They actually are Ronso. Cant wait to race change my lalafell into this. Been lala for yeaaars. But this beats it

  25. I like everything about them except I can't help but feel there's something a bit uncanny about their mouths. Not quite a muzzle like the male Hrothgar but not quite a human mouth/jaw. That's my only not pick I may well end up switching to one.

  26. My main worry and subsequent disappointment was considering how bad the male hrothgar fur looks, that female hrothgar would look equally bad in this regard, and they absolutely do.

    I was planning on starting fresh with dawntrail, going through the past expansion stories as a female hrothgar, but now I am questioning whether I will go for another race with their updated models.

  31. Like alot of folks iv wanted my buff lion mommys for some time but kinda feared they woild look like the males but with cleavage. Very much glad they dont! Tho now the males got to go to the chiropractor to c about dat back :3

  32. I LOVE the Hrothgals, I have a couple nitpicks like no eyebrows and with their fangs poked out of their mouths but those are small issues which I can look past, but otherwise I'm in love with them as I said

  33. I have to say I am greatly dissappointed with how they look, they look like femroes but with fur and it's exactly what I feared they would look like ever since we saw that art ages ago! Like they look like the blue avatar people with a mix of a persons first attempt at drawing a furry, it just looks so uncanny valley the whole face way too human and it could be so easily fixed by just giving them a proper snout a proper nose like with the male hrothgar, the females are way too flat faced it's just sad, if you squint your eyes they just look like different coloured humans. Their bodies are fine just wish that they could be a bit bent down like the males as now it's the classic WoW thing where the males looks all monsterous with different fun proportions while the females are just human with some small parts that show they are the same race xD hopefully they will look better in game and that there is a face option with a bigger snout

  34. As a low key fan of Hrothgar and as an amateur artist with tastes and work that aligns with that look I am conflicted with my interests lol. Decisions, decisions, I'm torn between staying as my bunny boy or Fanta'ing to the Female hrothgar. If they were released at the same time I'd definitely go for Hroth but now that I'm well into my Bunny boy off of it's new start I'm stuck on deciding. I made a new character to give him a fresh start and to immerse myself into the viera playthrough. I might just go for it. I'm loving the introduction and the artwork for them. I think my choice depends on what gear they can wear and what hairstyles they can use, if they're not limited it'll definitely make the choice easier seeing as the viera have limited hats and such. Otherwise I'm 100% down to make a lion waifu seeing as i've never really made a female character or played one in my entire decade of playing this game.

  40. I want them to be a bit beefier—the artwork they showed off is exactly the impression I want, and in-game they don't scream "muscular" to me—but I am pretty satisfied with the way they look. Their starting gear is also great.

  41. Been planning on my third character being a female Hrothgar since before vegas. Got her into Shadowbringers now waiting for Dawntrail to drop to get the free ARR Fantasia HRT going. hope we get a benchmark soon so I can plan her look fully.

  43. I was all for the cat mommy hype hut like no. The face models don’t look right. It’s so derpy and does not give that “mommy energy”. It reminds me of the Cats play released a few years ago…

I'm not into fur characters but I always liked how ANet designed the female Charr in GW2: the same hulking, strong frame as their male counterparts but slender with larger eyes, smaller fangs and overall softer features. I think with these Hroth girls SE hit it: they look like they should look. Feline like the males, with fur and claws and tail, but not quite as "beastial". The perfect mix of kitty cuteness and "you better dont mess with me, buddy"-attitude 😀

  47. Its been 84 yeaaaars.

    God they look so good. Head could maybe be a smidge bigger but the poofier hairstyles will fix that, gonna finally be able to stick to an alt (main#2 even)

    With the graphics update and a brand new character to get attached to im probably gonna be dropping another 1000 hours into this game lmao
