My only criticism for FFXIV is that the endgame consists of two things.
Raiding and RP.
There needs to be more replayability of content.
We don't have eureka/bozja anymore, we don't have any ways to obtain gear outside of raiding.
There NEEDS to be content designed to keep you playing the game or you just burn out and quit.
4 month content cycles are too long for 4 raid bosses and a trial.
The new dungeons were a good idea, but implemented to play it once and never do it again. No reason to replay them and no reward structure.
Many people do ignore how great Videogames are for Tangential learning. Small references to real life cultures go a long way, when they pique the interest of young gamers.
