  1. I wouldn't mind seeing more of this kind of content from you; the gaming industry is a strange and fascinating place sometimes. Congratulations to Lethal Company blowing up. Given that it's an indie game made by a small group of people, or just one person, this may have been more than a commercial success.

  2. For context on the Pizza Emote scandal, It was an ad during the game awards for Grubhub and how it worked was you would order food from Grubhub and enter a special promo code during your order on checkout. Problem 1: If you've ever ordered food from a delivery app, you almost NEVER pay just $15 for food. With fees, plus tiping the driver a considerable amount, i've never escaped playing less than $40. Also, the FOOD order had to be at least $15. the extra $25 in fees didn't count toward the emote. Problem 2: Grubhub wasn't prepared for the sheer amount of people hunting for codes and only had about 100,000 or so. So they quickly ran out and people who spent $40-50 bucks in food DIDNT get their emote. When confronting Grubhubs customer service reps, the response from Grub Hub was basically, "lol sorry. Get f*cked. Not our problem. You got food. We're not liable." Moral of the story: Don't buy anything from UberEats, Grubhub, or Postmates.

  3. part of the reason why the emote made such a big stink to begin with is that it was a limited time offer in a VERY limited area… an exclusive emote for people who could access grubhub. 15$ isnt actually that much to spend for an emote in ff14, but a lot of people just couldnt because grubhub doesnt deliver everywhere.
