  1. I feel like freecure exists entirely to dig you out of a mana intense healing hole. Obviously something has gone very wrong if you reach this point but you can be in a situation where you are spamming enough heals that you don't have enough MP for Cure II so you fall back on Cure and might get a proc for Cure II which helps dig you out of the hole

  2. I recall WHM being pretty good despite plenaries/lilies early on. Raw healing was very nice when progging Neo Exdeath. Sometimes caused ours to rip threat off tank and get bonked with tankbuster. Might be just us.

  3. Wow, medica 1’s range was 15y even in shadowbringers? Now it being 30y is pretty much the only benefit it has over medica 2. I think its cast time could stand to be 1.5 seconds to work as a panic top-up skill.

  4. I started playing the game during the mid point of Shadowbringers, and when I first heard about Aero 3 having previously been a thing, my first reaction was "Wait, why did they take that out? That sounds like it would be great for dungeons."

  5. Probably just as well you didn't include 1.0 White Mage. Man, that was a trip. Imagine a job with the combined powers of healing and elemental magic. Aero? Pfft. Try a good old blast of lightning, fire and ice! At high levels they even had access to Flare, Flood, Burst and Tornado (I really want some of these back). I have a lot of fond memories of early Conjurer before they gave all their toys away.

  6. I think white mage should have had protect, shell and all other buffs, including aura. And black mage should have Ultima. There wasn't anything wrong with protect and she'll as a concept it was the execution of the skill.

  7. A thing you forgot with assize was with the cleric stance portion of it you had to choose between damage or healing with it but when it got to all damage being based on mind assize was super buffed with that as I was great damage and heal rather than choice 😀

  8. Back when Overpower was a cone Fluid Aura was the most obnoxious thing in the world. You get the trash pull all lined up for your cone of death and the WHM just knocks them out of it

  9. Lord I remember dropping whm finally in Stormblood because AST had become my absolute main healer. And I got so mad that it felt like pretty much because they fucked up WHM in stormblood they had to gut the he'll put of everyone else to make the whm mains feel better. >.> So I will continue to blame whms for me quitting AST in SHB.
