  3. Oooh, I just realized all of Zodiark's muscles are made of snakes! Zodiark is so named after an Esper (Summon) of FFXII/Ivalice lore (the Ascians are also take their names from Ivalice lore, fyi). In Ivalice lore, Zodiark was the Esper of the snake, based on the Ophiuchus constellation, and the strongest of all the Espers. The enemies of the Ivalice raid series, and some of the enemies in Bozja encounters, also come from Ivalice lore. The Espers of Ivalice are based on the Zodiac, and some also take inspiration from previous Final Fantasy bosses themselves (that's why the first boss of the Ivalice raid series is named Mateus, as in Emperor Mateus of FFII).

  4. Honestly, the fate of Zodiark here is kinda depressing.
    He was basically the Ascians' final hope , but then Fandaniel turned him into a weapon that he pointed at us just make sure he got what he wanted no matter which way the coin fell

    If we fail, he gets to annihilate all of creation, especially with Haydelin too weak to stop him this time around

    If we win, Zodiark dissapates and with him the seal that prevented The End Days, i.e. the apocalypse.

    When I first did this, the whole party wiped to this mechanic because no one had any idea that was a knockback (it was a few days into the Expansion, so we were pretty much blind).

    Please consider renaming your video to something like "Trial 1" or "Primal 1" or even just "The Dark End" to not spoil future sprouts?
