Weird that the area for this fight is "The Sea of Stars" when we're still on Etheirys.
Fun fact, as a healer, Urianger mentions that we're suffering from a "surfeit of healers" and instead serves as a DPS! He's a "Lithomancer" and, as best as I could tell, he was reverting to his Arcanist/Summoner roots. (I had effects turned off and was kinda focused on not letting people die so I didn't get to peep all his animations.)
Also I appreciated that some of the Scions started out not dodging, because as a healer, you've got something to do. If they never took damage, there would be so little I'd get to do, because Alphinaud as a co-healer is Pretty Good Actually.

This fight was strangely difficult for me with the Trust system. The scions usually get out of aoes and heal appropriately but half of them died. Ended up playing on DF, where it took a few tries.
One of the most meaningful trials in the game!

Just sad this fight was… easy? Was kind of disappointed. With how hype it was it didn't fully live up to it.

My favorite part by far is near the beginning when Estinien called out a mechanic to Alphinaud to protect him.
Had a fun experience of Y'shtola Black Maging it up. . . and then she got us both killed by walking towards me lol

whenever you ran content with Alisaie trust, she's always hogging those LB. Wish the system smarter enough to let DD trust dealing LB instead (Ryne/Estinien). Seems the LB priorities always goes with Alisaie > Yshtola, & you'll never seen DD doing those unless one solely picks them only when doing dps yourselves.
I ran this with the Scions and they did so many odd things during the fight. Nearly every time a stack marker would show up, they'd run off with it and die alone. Or I'd stack on it and everyone else wouldn't leaving just 2 people on it to get gibbed.
Im not going to watch this video yet as I havent gotten to it in the MSQ, I just wanted to say thank you so fucking much for not just blasting spoilers in the title like ive seen other people do. Much love

I loved how this is the first trial you can do fully with NPCs under the trust system
they purposely fail the first few mechanics and learn as they go, for immersion.
I had a glitch I think in my first attempt, when the Flood mechanic happens, no one would move and then would wipe lol. Had to leave and try again and I think they learned. (I was a tank)
I'm glad I wasnt spoiled of this fight when I did it. I was looking like wait….this dialogue…is if finally happening….are we actually gonna DO THIS…..*jumps and starts yelling* YESSUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH!! LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Your Trust went much better than mine. My crew could NOT dodge the light waves to save their lives (literally). Don't know if it was I was the tank and went to my own safe spot that they then tried to follow, bit they kept running right though the middle when all four waves were there. I couldn't get them to stop dying and had to switch to PF.
I think that the scions getting hit by some of these attacks are to give the player (as a healer) a bit more to do. I know it made me feel like I was contributing a bit more when I was a white mage.
Why red mage LB3 ?
Because as soon as LB bar is full Alisae use it.
It was really interesting seeing the npc's interact with the fight, Estenien and Alisaie were definitely the most reckless, I was always needing to top them up! In fact, Alisaie did a backflip away from the stack taking it with her and eating it during the light crystals phase XD
