  1. When I first got to this fight, I remember thinking to myself it was odd that a manifestation of despair would have such a majestic boss theme… then in subsequent runs with friends I realized this isn't Endsinger's theme, at least not thematically. This is the Warrior of Light's opposition to the song of oblivion.

  2. Omg. While doing the fight I recognized the lietmotifs, but I never put two and two together to realize they were the themes from all the previous bosses. Friggin genius.

  3. The songs are our journey through the various expansions Ultima=AAR Thordian=HW shinryu=StB hades=SB then second phase music is the most recent expansion= Endwalker
The end of our walk to save the world

  4. Ultima weapon, Nidhogg, Shinryu and Hades themes all in one theme with a little bit of answers too. Such a good theme, it's the perfect culmination of everything. Gaius (Ultima) is now allied to you, Nidhoggs power is at your side in Estinien, you're riding Shinryu and it was Hades (Emet-Selch) and Hydaelyn (for Answers) who helped you get here

  5. I love how to end the saga, between part 1 and 2 this theme uses motifs from the boss fights of every expansion plus some sexy guitar stuff from Endwalker itself. The music is self kinda tells the saga.

  6. So considering there's already Zodiark and Hydaelyn Extreme, what kind of bullshit strats is she gonna pull in Endsinger Extreme? And how exhausting is it gonna be running it day in and day out for moon doggo?

  7. "'Tis so lonely among the stars." Geeeez, I missed that. It wasn't just what Meteoin found out there, but that it too so long, on such an empty, lonely journey only to find nothing.

  8. If you told me in November that after about 2 hours of traversing dead planets at the edge of the universe itself going through an insane rollar coaster of emotion, the end of our (current) FInal Fantasy 14 journey was going to be a battle where we were riding on the back of our sworn enemy who had regained his dragon form, fighting a giant hot floating head with wings who proceeded to throw planets at us, while we flew through the edge of the universe itself and topped it all off with a Gurran Lagann style fist fight against said sworn enemy because our mind and soul was FINALLY free of dread of the end days and we wanted to releave some stress…. I would have called you fking mad. What a hell of an ending.
