  1. I don't know if it happened with other bosses, but I love that after the transition her attacks are no longer clam and co-ordinated, but flailing and frustrated, like Thordan's were after he failed to kill us with Knights of the Round.

  2. this boss probably has the most satisfying reaction when the song reach final phase theme

you can see her confused beyond doubt that we still standing after all that and literally panicking. she just start swiping us left and right without any though at all, her cold demeanor… gone, her provocation… gone, her graceful method to kill us… gone

she just… panic, seeing us still standing and the light start pressing her more and more.

endsinger is probably the second boss that actually feel afraid to us after she unleash everything to us and we still standing and fight.

the first one would be king thordan from HW

  3. When this dropped it was the first time I ever cried from sheer excitement and jubilation, idk why but it instantly clicked with me that the Endsinger isn't the final boss, you are.

  4. There's a very small detail in the circle we summon forth with Azem's crystal that adds up something nice to the fight and most people never noticed: closer to the edges of the arena, there's a darker pattern that keeps spinning. That pattern is made up of Emet-Selch's, Lahabrea's and Elidibus' sigils, the ones in their faces whenever they manifest some level of power.

It's almost like the unsundered are also protecting us, somehow.

  5. I can't help but wonder, where could the game go after this?
By this point we've battled dozens of gods, dragons, an entire army, ancient super weapons, void-sent demons, exterminated a race of creators who made all life on the planet, our own patron goddess, and an apocalyptic destroy of world with infinite power.
Meteon is like the Majin Bu of FFXIV, I honestly feel like no villain Square Enix throws at us could top her.
