It is heavily hinted by Yoshi P's t-shirts on both the announcement and the Liveletter after it that the next melee dps is a scythe-wielder. Ranjiit was also a hint at it. Maybe necromancer? It can be a MAGICAL melee DPS. But it would be more realistically called Reaper.

As someone who's been a Paladin main since the days of ARR I think it goes without saying that while everyone else was squealing about Sage during this trailer, I was releasing holy screams about how freaking cool that gear set the Warrior of Light is wearing looks and how much I need it in my life.
Everyone was positively mooning over these trailers.
I heard there were restrictions being released, and liked as fast as I could!

Nu, Mu, and Lambda made it in FF XIV as one class
it's funny how the longer me and my friend hold off on starting XIV, the easier they make it to play through in terms of Length and Time. Now thanks to the All around numbers decrease. Also, when that class comes out and I don't hear a single Nu, Lambda or Mu sound file in your videos I will be so let down lol.
