thx for proper detailed explaination, would recommend this video to any other main blackmage
What staff is that?
Quick potency note (possibly not final as usual), the astral fire 3 potency bonus for fire spells is 1.8x, which brings fire IV to 540 potency. This is more than Paradox, but less potency per second as it's a 2.8 cast vs 2.5 for pardox
So glad I found this. None of the other black mage videos today had quite the information/ play experience info I was hoping to find. Great work here!
Great video but too much misinformation likely caused by lack of more in-depth understanding of the class
Your video has been the best I've seen on Endwalker black mage. With the exception of scathe, it seems like all of our spells finally have a use. But given that it seems like SE is bent on making sure black mages use all of their spells, I'm kind of excited to see what they do with scathe after Endwalker?
EXPLOSIONS!
BLM is my main and favorite class, and I am SO excited for this. Great video, thank you so much!
You still gain Paradox when Transposing from AF3 to UL1. See Ezuplosion's video
You're still gonna want Blizzard II, it can't be replaced by Freeze because Freeze doesn't grant Umbral Ice any more…
The non-transpose swap for Paradox is wrong and could've been tested very easily. The only thing you need for swapping are 3 stacks (and 3 umbral hearts when swapping out of UI).
Don't know why you kept glossing over Blizzard 2 in your explanation for AOE rotation, but watching to the end, it seems like you fixed that.
