  2. I like all the races and think it's nice there are many options. I play Raen and Moon Cat the most. I also like to play as Plainsfolk. I enjoyed Veena in the past but many headgears I like weren't able to be used on them which was rough, as well as not as many hair options as I would like. It's gotten slightly better at least since then. From my experiences, I honestly think Lalas have to deal with the most clear cut in-game race discrimination.

There are a number of people who really expect you to act like a 3 year old on them because their headcanon, which goes against the actual canon, is that they are all children, rather than just a dwarven fantasy race. Like, I'm a 31 year old woman in a relationship; I'm not going to act like a kid to placate some weird fixation on them. I'm a woman and I'm going to do womanly things regardless of the height of my race. I treat my lala friends with the same respect I treat any other of my friends and they understandably appreciate it.

With that said, I think any weird stereotype against in-game race choice or unironic forced headcanon authoritarianism is just off-putting in fantasy MMOs like this, if not in general. Those types of people need to relax and not be such toxic witch hunters, high off the fumes of their self righteous cynicism of others. Cute video on this.

  3. Well… I have a tan skin, small breast catgirl with heterochromia and dark greyish-brown hair, who somehow became genderfluid in my mind and a lot of my glams are quite the opposite of revealing, or if they are revealing I avoid 2B leggins and similar like the plague (the priority is "looks nice" and not "how much skin does it show")… now does that or does that not fit the stereotype 🤔

But despite being aware of being a miqo myself (or maybe because of that?) I really hate seeing those miqo who have pale, almost translucent skin but extremely pink lips and marks or blush… it just looks unnatural somehow, if you're going to go for pale look adjust your lip color to pale as well for gods sake, can't be that hard now? No it doesn't "pop" if your lipcolor stands out that crassly, all you see with a bit of camera distance is blotches of red and white and it's repulsive.

  4. in terms of FFXIV, Miqo'te are as basic as it gets, enough to make medium-height-midlander me feel unique
HOWEVER, in terms of Catgirls, Miqo'te are the best iteration of the concept and you can't convince me otherwise
