Sadly didn't catch you stream. I would've loved to chat in real time and give my ideas and ask you questions.
What bothers me with Solution 9 is, how did we not hear anything about it until now? Such a flashy city should never go unnoticed. Even more, if they managed to evolve from an allagan empire colony, they had to at least get resources to build and to advance into what they are now. To cover all that up and under the rug? At least there must be some allies that are helping them.
As for the DDoS attacks, I could imagine they don't want to disclose too many information online, where they did come from and what they are after. Even more, if there are ongoing official investigations, they are not allowed to disclose too many info to the public.
I am sure they are working on a solution and all we can do it wait.
The first few gear sets (usually up till level 94) are always a bit annoying indeed. I usually keep 'em in case they can be used for leve-turn-ins. Otherwise, desynthesis as the components sure will be useful for crafting or turn in for grand company seals in order to get repair material and ventures for free.
To go that low with your gear (level 88)? You might at least could conciser the artifact set that you get during the MSQ. Especially if there is a ilvl restriction on the first dungeon, it might come in handy as a backup.
I am using the windows screenshot system for a long time and am quite happy with it. It's not always as instant as the ingame one, but it works. However, I ran into an issue last expansion launch, where the windows system stopped working twice after exactly 1000 screenshots and I needed to restart my PC to get it to work again. Some form of internal counter I assume. And yes, I made more than 2500 when endwalker launched….
That was back on windows 10, so maybe on now windows 11 this is different. But maybe just check now and then, if the screenshots are still being saved!
Maybe one day I will make an EU alt… If they won't remove the regional restrictions. That way I could geek out about lore in game with you XD
