There is no defense.
nb4 7.0 is named "Sworn Blades" or something
Since wow did shadowlands after we had shadowbringers what if 7.0 name contains the word dragon like dragon island or something lol
I think that this whole post patch cycle has been purposely…not light but…less intense(?) on purpose, and i dont mean that in a bad way…mostly.
Obviously this post patch cycle is the way it is, is on some small level, because of XVI. Lighter workload for CBU3 to help get the game perfect for launch, but i think there is also an argument to me made that its light and doesnt want you to feel so forced to play, the post patch story (while i love it) is not as intense as other post patch stories tend to be since the bloody banquet is because of EW and the fact it did end a major storyline that was very emotionally impactful( Brian crying atleast once per stream from Garlemald til the credits stop rolling is my first thought in this case) and they may want just an easy 2 years to let people recharge, play other games(XVI) and come back in 7.0 with renued energy.
Yes this means that some players may feel unhappy about the general lack of reasons to play or "too casual" on some level but i think a lul is needed so people can rest and be ready for the future.
There is no need to defend content scheduling…
If people can't understand what goes behind the "work" being done, they are blissfully ignorant of a 9-5 job.
As well, YoshiP himself is playing Zelda on stream.
I think that shows everyone with some sick obsession with this game that they need to take a break.
And also, it shows confidence that even if people play other games, people will come back.
That is some balls imo lol
